In a collaboration between CIVIDEC and JJ X-Ray, an in-flange X-ray beam positioning solution is offered. CIVIDEC provides the single crystal CVD diamond quadrant detector, and JJ X-Ray provides the mechanical packaging. The detector can be moved vertically and laterally such that the starting point of the beam position measurements can be at (0,0) of the detector. The detector can also be moved out of the beam path, note the circular hole above the quadrant area of the detector.

It should be stressed that the diamond is a single crystal, and thus the coherence of the beam is preserved.

CIVIDEC can further provide preamplifiers and readout electronics, allowing for a high-speed and precise feedback system. More details are found here.
