The single crystal diamond (SCD) X-ray beam position monitor (XBPM) is a development pioneered by CIVIDEC. The SCD XBPM has a resolution of 0.6% of the beam size – even for nanosized beams, see the linked publication where the SCD XBPM was tested at the NanoMAX beamline at MAX IV. JJ X-Ray provides a UHV compatible flange mounted casing that allows the SCD XBPM to be moved vertically and horizontally with a motion resolution in the nm range.
