The IB-C80-AIR slit system was originally developed for the SNS neutron facility, but since then the system has also been used at special synchrotron beamlines.

The system features four individually movable blades providing a large 80 mm x 80 mm opening with fully overlapping blades.

For standard synchrotron application, we offer tungsten carbide blades. For neutron applications, the customer can e.g. provide their own blades, or we will provide B4C blades.
